It’s FINALLY time to cover our Book Club: World War Z episode! We have been talking about doing this episode for months, but have been sidetracked for the past few months with convention season! You will have to forgive any forgetfulness, as it has been several months since we listened to the audio book.
We were really impressed with the format in which this book takes place, where it is all post-war interviews. We loved the audio book for this, as the cast is completely amazing, especially in the unabridged edition. Had this book been a straight narrative, we wouldn’t have been interested at all.
Some of the amazing actors in this book are Alan Alda, Nathan Fillion, Mark Hamill, Henry Rollins, Denise Crosby, Jeri Ryan, and so many more. Here is the complete cast list.
The scariest part of this book was the fact that there really wasn’t anywhere to run to that was safe. Zombies can survive in every environment, under water, up a tree, etc. As humans, we can’t even wrap our heads around this thought.
